DENVER – This is the beginning of the wedding season in Colorado, but with the huge snowstorm in the forecast, many brides who had dreamed of outdoor weddings, are now scrambling to figure something else out.

Chelsea Tolle had planned to get married at an outdoors gazebo at Stonebrook Manor in Thornton. But she was there on Thursday getting a tour of the indoor options.

“I also get weather alerts on my cell phone, and the other night I started getting them at 4 in the morning saying we’re under a winter weather watch. I’m like oh my goodness. So i kind of got a little freaked out,” Tolle said.

She decided to move the whole thing inside, and is glad she had that option. She says she’s disappointed, but still excited.

“As long as we get married that’s all the matters,” she said.
